Live Events Terms and Conditions
LIVE EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
By purchasing a ticket for and/or attending a Finances Demystified live event (the βEventβ), I acknowledge and agree to the following Event Terms & Conditions, in addition to the Finances Demystified Terms & Conditions of Use, which are incorporated by reference.
1. Ticket Purchase & Refund Policy
All Event ticket purchases are subject to the refund, cancellation, and transfer policies stated on the applicable Event registration or sales page and within the Finances Demystified Terms & Conditions.
Unless otherwise expressly stated in writing, Event ticket purchases are final and non-refundable. No refunds, credits, exchanges, or cancellations will be provided for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, inability to attend, missed sessions, travel difficulties, illness, personal emergencies, or other circumstances outside the Company's control.
If I purchase a ticket or make a payment plan, I agree to fulfill all payment obligations associated with my purchase, regardless of whether I ultimately attend or participate in the Event.
2. Travel, Transportation & Accommodation
I am responsible for arranging and paying for my own transportation, airfare, ground transportation, parking, lodging, hotel accommodations, and other travel-related expenses associated with attending the Event.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these expenses are not included in the Event ticket price.
Finances Demystified is not responsible for travel delays, flight cancellations, transportation issues, hotel or accommodation issues, or other travel-related circumstances. I understand that Finances Demystified will not reimburse or compensate me for non-refundable travel, transportation, hotel, or other expenses if I am unable to attend the Event or if the Event is changed, postponed, or canceled.
3. Event Schedule, Speakers & Venue
I understand that Event schedules, speakers, sessions, activities, programming, venues, and other Event details may change. Finances Demystified reserves the right to make reasonable changes when necessary.
A change to a speaker, session, schedule, activity, or venue does not automatically entitle me to a refund or other compensation.
4. Event Cancellation or Postponement
If Finances Demystified cancels or postpones the Event, the Company will communicate any available refund, credit, transfer, or rescheduling options to registered attendees in accordance with the applicable Event policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finances Demystified is not responsible for any indirect or consequential expenses I may incur as a result of an Event cancellation, postponement, or change, including airfare, hotel accommodations, transportation, meals, or other travel-related expenses.
5. Food, Beverages & Allergies
If complimentary or purchased food and beverages are provided at the Event, I understand that such food and beverages may contain allergens or ingredients that may not be suitable for me.
I am responsible for informing the venue and/or Event staff of any allergies or dietary restrictions and for confirming ingredients before consuming any food or beverage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finances Demystified and its affiliates are not responsible for allergic reactions, dietary issues, illness, or other adverse reactions resulting from food or beverages provided or served at the Event.
6. Personal Injury & Assumption of Risk
I understand that attending an in-person Event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, illness, accidents, or other injuries.
I voluntarily assume the ordinary and foreseeable risks associated with attending and participating in the Event and agree to act responsibly and follow reasonable safety instructions provided by the venue or Event staff.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finances Demystified and its affiliates are not liable for personal injury or illness arising from my participation in or attendance at the Event, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
7. Personal Property
I am solely responsible for my personal belongings while attending the Event.
Finances Demystified, its affiliates, employees, contractors, speakers, vendors, and Event partners are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, including but not limited to phones, laptops, cameras, luggage, wallets, or other personal items.
8. Attendee Conduct
I agree to conduct myself respectfully and professionally throughout the Event.
Finances Demystified reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse admission to or remove any attendee whose conduct is disruptive, threatening, abusive, harassing, unlawful, inappropriate, or otherwise interferes with the safety, comfort, or experience of other attendees, speakers, staff, vendors, or Event partners.
Removal from the Event due to misconduct does not entitle me to a refund, credit, or other compensation.
9. Photography, Video & Audio Recording
I understand that photographs, video, audio recordings, and other media may be captured during the Event.
By attending the Event, I grant Finances Demystified and its affiliates permission to photograph, record, and otherwise capture my image, likeness, voice, and participation and to use such materials for educational, promotional, marketing, social media, advertising, website, and other business purposes, without additional compensation, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Educational Disclaimer
I understand that all information, presentations, demonstrations, discussions, strategies, examples, and materials presented during the Event are provided for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing presented at the Event constitutes individualized financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or other professional advice.
Finances Demystified does not guarantee any specific financial, investment, trading, business, or other result from attending the Event or implementing information presented during the Event.
All financial and investment decisions involve risk, and I am solely responsible for my own decisions, actions, implementation, and results.
11. Event Materials & Intellectual Property
All presentations, workbooks, slides, recordings, frameworks, templates, educational materials, and other content provided during or in connection with the Event remain the intellectual property of Finances Demystified or its applicable owner.
Event materials are provided for my personal, individual use only. I may not reproduce, record, distribute, publish, sell, sublicense, share, or commercially exploit Event materials without prior written permission from Finances Demystified.
12. Third-Party Venue, Vendors & Services
The Event may take place at a third-party venue and may involve hotels, caterers, transportation providers, speakers, sponsors, vendors, or other independent third parties.
I understand that Finances Demystified is not responsible for the acts, omissions, policies, services, or failures of independent third parties, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Finances Demystified and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, speakers, and Event partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to my attendance at or participation in the Event.
This includes, without limitation, financial losses, lost profits, travel expenses, lost business opportunities, personal injury, property loss or damage, or other consequential losses.
Any limitation of liability contained in the Company's general Terms & Conditions shall also apply to my participation in the Event.
14. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Finances Demystified and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, agents, speakers, vendors, and Event partners from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, or legal fees arising from my violation of these Event Terms & Conditions, my misconduct, my violation of applicable law, or my infringement of another person's rights.
15. General Terms & Conditions
These Event Terms & Conditions supplement the Finances Demystified Terms & Conditions of Use. If there is a conflict between these Event Terms & Conditions and the general Terms & Conditions, the Event-specific terms will control only with respect to the subject matter specifically addressed herein.
All other provisions of the Finances Demystified Terms & Conditions, including provisions concerning intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, arbitration, severability, and changes to terms, remain in full force and effect.
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to these Live Event Terms & Conditions and the applicable Finances Demystified Terms & Conditions of Use.
